Having met Paul Turner of Alf Turner Butchers the other day, it made me think about integrity and how, as we are starting out, it is easy for our personal integrity to be challenged. It can be tough to stick to your guns and honour your beliefs through the different opportunities and obstacles that arise.
After Paul's talk, I met with someone else and we were discussing what to do when someone asks you to do something for free. It made me think of integrity not just in our actions but also in having confidence in our own self worth.
To be fair, while I've mainly been thinking about how these challenge arise as we are growing our companies but, in reality, I think they continue throughout in both our personal and our business life.
